IBAC executes search warrants in Mildura

Victoria's independent anti-corruption commission, IBAC, today confirmed it has executed search warrants in Mildura in relation to an IBAC investigation.

The warrants are part of an IBAC's investigation, Operation Isabella, which is examining a range of allegations about corruption and misconduct.

The purpose of any IBAC investigation is to determine if there is sufficient and credible evidence to support allegations of corrupt conduct.

The decision to start an investigation does not mean there has been any wrongdoing and it is important that any IBAC investigation is allowed to proceed without drawing conclusions or making assumptions.

Anyone with credible information about suspected corruption in the Victorian public sector is encouraged to contact IBAC at www.ibac.vic.gov.au/report or 1300 735 135.

Please note: IBAC will not be providing media interviews or further comment.
