IBAC welcomes appointment of Deputy Commissioner
IBAC welcomes the appointment of Mr Andrew Kirkham AM, RFD, QC as Deputy Commissioner, IBAC.
At the Victorian Bar since 1967 and a Queen's Counsel since 1983, Mr Kirkham brings to IBAC a wealth of experience in criminal, civil, disciplinary and military law.
A former Judge Advocate-General for the Australian Defence Force and still a member of its inquiry panel, he presided over the recent inquiry into the Australian Chinook helicopter tragedy in Afghanistan.
