IBAC's Operation Lansdowne public examinations conclude

Public examinations by Victoria’s independent anti-corruption commission into allegations of serious corruption involving the Victorian vocational education and training, and transport sectors concluded today.

Held over three weeks, the examinations are part of the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission’s (IBAC) Operation Lansdowne investigation, which is looking into allegations of serious corrupt conduct at South West Institute of TAFE, Bendigo Kangan Institute and V/Line. The examinations heard evidence from 31 witnesses and 278 exhibits were tabled.

Operation Lansdowne is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is encouraged to report it via the IBAC website or phone 1300 735 135.

A public report on Operation Lansdowne is scheduled to be tabled to Parliament in late 2017.
