Anyone with information on alleged corruption in the education sector is encouraged to contact the state’s anti-corruption agency.

IBAC Acting CEO John Lynch said while the Operation Ord public hearings closed today, they formed just one part of the ongoing investigation.

“As a result of the public examinations, we have received new information to help us form a more complete picture of the alleged events,” Dr Lynch said.

“This investigation is not over. So anyone with information or concerns can still contact us.

“All the information we receive, through the hearings or additional information we’re receiving now, will help us in the next stages of our investigation.”

A public report on Operation Ord will be released in 2016.

As Victoria’s independent anti-corruption commission, IBAC works to identify, expose and prevent public sector corruption and police misconduct. IBAC manages complaints and investigates allegations of serious corruption in state and local government, members of Parliament, Victoria Police and the judiciary.
