IBAC charges former employees of the City of Ballarat Council
Victoria’s anti-corruption commission, IBAC has charged a former employee of the City of Ballarat Council with procurement related deception offences and with soliciting secret commissions.
Three former contractors also face related charges.
Court proceedings will commence at the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 15 December 2016.
The charges follow an IBAC investigation into allegations of corrupt procurement transactions at the council.
IBAC can make no further comment on the matter as it is now before the Courts.
